PistoFram Accumulator

A PistoFram accumulator has a light weight piston where the dynamic seals are aligned with the piston center, and where both the gas and liquid skirt ends have graphite filled Teflon guide rings. The hollow piston center contains a diaphragm which is able to accept or produce liquid flow by instantaneous deflection during the millisecond or so taken for piston mass acceleration; producing faster response characteristics than from traditional glued balloon in can bladder accumulators. At gas or liquid end of stroke the central diaphragm flow hole cannot align with the inlet out porting that is spaced either side of centerline, thus there is no encumbrance to flow of anti extrusion devices.
